SA Rowing - A Cut Above the Rest

We are an elite Junior Rowing Club focused on providing our athletes with individualized coaching and training to ensure peak performance for competition.

With our Traditions of Excellence, we have continued to train hard and train safely during this difficult year.

As one of the only teams in Georgia to compete during the Fall Season, we have protocols in place that focus on keeping the team safe while delivering results, and winning at the national level this Spring.

We are the only Junior Program in the metro area with a dedicated indoor training facility, ensuring the best and most consistent training experience throughout the year. Our Training Facilities includes 1,300 sq ft of indoors space dedicated to weight training and conditioning, erg'ing and group activities.

St. Andrew Rowing operates a variety of year-round programs for students grades 6th through 12th. Our program includes Varsity and Novice programs for Men and Women. Our program begins in the fall, continues through the spring, and culminates with competition at the regional level. Successful athletes compete for a chance to participate in US Rowing’s National Championship in the Spring. St. Andrew Rowing successfully competes each year in the US Rowing Southeast Youth Championships and has advanced more boats to the national level than any club in the area.

For those interested in developing a great foundation of rowing skills, St. Andrew also offers a Middle School program,  Foundations and a variety of Summer Camp options open to beginners ages 10-18.

Competitive Programs

The SA Competitive Program is a co-ed program for athletes that are interested in, and devoted to advancing their rowing skills in a competitive environment. Whether you are focused on a rowing scholarship or just love competing, we have a place for you. Our Program includes both Novice Squad and Varsity Squad Programs.

Successful athletes are dedicated to rigorous conditioning training, are able to meet the demands of aggressive technique drills and are enthusiastic about training for competition against other clubs within the Southeast Region for a shot at competing in the National Championships. Within the competitive programs, rowers are expected to earn their seat in the boat, to be committed to consistent participation and attendance, and to invest in becoming the best athlete possible.

Our coaches are dedicated to the development of our athletes and expect all young men and women who choose to become a part of this program to match this investment. In return, our athletes become a part of one of the most successful youth rowing programs, excelling at both the regional and national levels, and attracting the attention of some of the most prestigious Collegiate Programs in the county. In short, our Competitive Program is perfect for athletes aspiring to carry on our Tradition of Excellence.
